Because the GRP Adapt Series features an open-cell surface designed to channel moisture away from the surface, regular care helps maintain its grip and performance over time.
For the best grip, practice with clean hands and feet, free from lotions or oils, as they can create a barrier on the surface and be absorbed by the open-cell surface over time.
Because the GRP Adapt Series is designed with an open-cell surface, it's intended to be practiced on directly rather than with a towel covering the mat. Covering the surface with a damp towel for extended periods can trap moisture against the mat instead of allowing it to naturally dissipate.
After each practice, wipe the surface with Manduka's Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh or a clean, damp cloth, then allow it to air dry completely before rolling or storing. Regular cleaning helps remove sweat, salt, and surface debris to keep your mat fresh and performing at its best. While proper care supports long-term performance, some marks or stains may become part of the natural appearance of an open-cell surface over time.
