Manduka eQua – a towel for life – is the 'next generation' in multi-purpose towels. Extremely lightweight, yet plush, durable, super-absorbent and quick drying, the eQua microfiber towel outperforms ordinary cotton or polyester towels - on the mat, at the gym, on a mountain, or on the road.
Now thicker and plusher for better absorbency and slip-resistance, the new & improved eQua towel is the perfect companion to all Manduka high performance yoga mats. The eQua Mat Towel spreads over any yoga mat to add traction to sweaty palms and feet. The versatile eQua doubles as a germ-free gym towel to absorb perspiration, as a meditation shawl so you can stay warm during cool sitting sessions, or as a highly absorbent travel or hiking towel which takes up a minimum amount of packing space. Slip-resistant, when moist, this super-soft microfiber towel provides extra grip for sweaty hands and feet.

To enhance the slip-resistant qualities of the fabric, spray with water to dampen before use.
To Wash: Machine wash on cold with like colors. Hang to dry (recommended) or tumble dry on low setting.

The eQua microfiber fabric is a synthetic material, engineered for performance & durability, and is recyclable. We consider the product to be an eco-conscious choice, when the towel is used to its fullest potential. Its versatility eliminates the need for other fitness towels that wear out quickly. While the material will survive countless uses and washes, it can also be repurposed as a multi-functional cleaning cloth, if its life as a fitness accessory comes to an end. The packaging is made from 100% recycled PET material.

Due to an injury, I’ve opted for “hot yoga” for my daily practice. Less than 10 minutes into class, I found myself slipping & sliding on my yoga mat so I purchased an eQua Mat Towel. It has made my practice easier & safer! The towel is super absorbent; it stays in place & feels luxurious beneath my hands & feet. I was happy I opted for the extra length (long) and the color (Magic) is absolutely divine. It washes well (in cold) & dries quickly. I love it! It is most definitely a worthwhile investment.
When I got my new Natural Fitness brand natural rubber mat (the Divine, their extra-thick, extra-long version), it had enough cushion (I'm 6-2, 235), but as with all "sticky mats" I've tried, the traction was completely inadequate. Fortunately, adding an eQua mat towel made all the difference. For a fabric that provides so much traction, I continue to be surprised at how soft and pleasant to the touch it is. And Electric is a beautiful color. Not cheap, but absolutely worth the money.
I bought this towel to cover my Black Mat Pro long... It was heaven! As my mat became broke in I stopped using it for regular practice and used it only for hot yoga and relaxation pose. The towel is so nice that I use it now as my carry-along exercise towel (because it rolls up nice & small), for climbing, post-run's, camping etc... I have yet to get it completely soaked... I bet it could hold a gallon of water and not drip. Dries super fast too! $50 bucks is a lot for a towel... But this isn't a normal towel. I can tell I'll have this for a long time due to it's craftsmanship. No problem in washer or dryer, still looks brand new (after 6 months of solid use).
I purchased a long equa towel to go with my long black mat and it is wonderful. Fully covers my mat with it's size. The mat itself is amazing soft and absorbs sweat very good, which for me is good cause I am a bit of a heavy sweater. Best thing is despite that I am never fighting for grip or slipping around while I practice. I will be buying a few more so I can rotate the towels to ensure I always have a clean one.
