I use this towel with my pro lite mat for hot vinyasa yoga. I love it! It stays put and absorbs sweat like nothing else. There is nothing worse than lying in a puddle of sweat on your towel after an intense yoga session (which happens with thinner/less absorbent towels). I will caution that it takes a bit to wear this towel in to achieve maximum traction (maybe 4-5 uses and subsequent washings). I use this towel with the Black Mat Pro in my hot yoga classes and love it. It is soft, plush and absorbent. It washes and dries in the dryer beautifully. It is a perfect complement to a hot yoga practice. It feels fabulous under foot for the standing series and makes the spine series and savasanas even more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

As I opened the package to the Manduka eQua Hot Towel my hand sank into the fluffy, soft, dense, lush fabric. I first thought WOW how can this be a towel made just for Hot Yoga, maybe a towel you would find at a luxury spa or fine hotel. That was my first impression...now for the really good part of using this towel for what it was meant for....Absorbing Sweat. I laid my Manduka eQua Hot onto my MAT and oh Mama I said to myself. Noting that I have soft feet, but I am still a man and have semi rough treads. The towel was so soft like I was stepping onto thick crushed velvet and my feet looked up at me and said Thanks Man. My feet and hands gripped the towel perfectly and did not slip once. The only draw back to the using the towel was when I had to stratal my legs over the towel and my feet had to leave their new Happy Place. So 90 long, sweaty, hard minutes later the true test of the towel was to come. Now I have to say that I am a sweater....My palms are sweating just thinking about my eQua Hot Towel Experience. I pulled back the towel which weighed God knows how much to see that there was no sweat on the MAT. I was in shock and then it hit me why the towel in my hand weighed so much...Because it absorbed all the sweat and kept the sweat inside those special fabrics that the Manduka scientists created. I would add one and one thing only to this experience...Someone to ring all the sweat out of my towel so my hands would not have to get dirty. Towel washes great and dries out quick for those who need a quick turn around. To any serious Bikram or Hot Yoga practitioner this is a must have for your yoga gear. Manduka has done it again and my hands, feet, and sweat thank you.

This is the most amazing towel for Hot yoga. Please be cautioned though. Once you use this towel you will never be able to use an ordinary towel again. You will be spoiled! Mine was still in the dryer one day and I had to use a regular towel. I felt like I was practicing my yoga on Sandpaper.
I now own 4 of these towels so I am never in that situation again.
What is amazing is at the end of my class the weight of the towel. When you lift it off your mat it is so heavy as it has absorbed all your sweat! Sounds gross but during class you don't want to be standing in a puddle of sweat and you never will with this towel. It literally holds all your sweat.
If you practice hot yoga you must own this towel!

This is the perfect towel for hot yoga. It completely covers my mat, doesn't move around and absorbs all my sweat. With other towels I would be lying in a puddle by the end of class, but this one soaked up everything. I can't wait to get more.

Absolutely brilliant! I'm someone who doesn't sweat. I drip, with no interruption. This towel was soft as velvet and absorbed the sweat without getting soggy or slippery. I'm definitely getting a couple more.

Soooo soft and grippy! I didn't know whether to do yoga or just one, long, savasana!! Super absorbent, and plush, and lovely. Truly a unique and perfect towel for any sweaty yoga.

I was excited to get the hot eQua towel this week, actually have been counting down the days...I used it in my class Wed night and IT IS THE BEST TOWEL EVER INVENTED, I have never had such a great class and it takes your dripping sweat and holds it...for all of you hot yogis, there is nothing like it for all of us who practice the hot sweaty yoga... and I still love my regular eQua towel too...Manduka has done it again.
