I love Manduka's Mats! I use both the black mats that I keep at home for my Husband and I and the purple travel Mats that I keep in the car to go travel to the studios with. I have let my students borrow my purple mat sometimes when i see them struggling, slipping and sliding with their own. They buy one immediately after that. Thank you Manduka!!

use & care
To Clean: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Keep moisture levels to a minimum. Do not use detergent, steel wool or other abrasives to clean your Bamboo Block.

The Manduka Bamboo Block is Biodegradable. During production, non-toxic glues are used to bind the block and the bamboo material is carbonized then lightly coated for protection. The coating process is non-harmful and actually sterilizes the bamboo during the treatment process.

Known for its strength and hardness, bamboo is the most sustainable wood available, replenishing itself faster than any other wood plant on the planet. Bamboo belongs to the grass family and has the potential to grow to full height within 3–4 months.
