I've basically got everything Manduka and just today received my first box of the recycled foam blocks - and as expected they are totally up to the Manduka standard.
In my teaching, over the years, I have accumulated an array of 30+ foam blocks that I have used - all with varying degrees of firmness & stability. Some are squishy, and some fall apart quickly - so on, so on.
The new Manduka block is totally perfect. The feel and integrity is just what you'd want in a block: A sound base that gives all the needed support yet still still carries the comfort, simplicity and levity of foam.
