The mission of The Wellness Initiative is to improve the physical health, social and emotional development, and academic performance of low-income youth through yoga-based wellness programs in Colorado.

Manduka was happy to donate auction items for this program’s fundraising efforts. What’s more important, is that overall, with the help of all sponsors, The Wellness Initiative was able to raise $32,000. These funds will directly support The Wellness Initiative’s programs in low-income schools in Colorado and will give the program the opportunity to provide valuable, life-long tools to students who might otherwise not have access to yoga’s powerful benefits. Many children within the program are benefitting greatly from learning yoga; and many now consider it a tool to calming down, feeling happy, concentrating, and being healthy.
