QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required

Professional HR Certification required

At least seven years of HR experience required

Highly skilled at recruiting and hiring

Experience building a company culture for a values-based business

Solid working knowledge in all major HR disciplines

Proven track record of effectively operating at both a strategic and tactical level

Proven track record in developing and implementing and conducting HR programs

Successful track record of relationship building, problem solving, and demonstrating sound judgment

Ability to interface with internal senior business leaders and also work independently

Masterful written, listening, and oral communication skills; perfect grammar and spelling

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and grow a world class organization through recruitment, talent management, training and development

Builds and influences all aspects of company culture

Ensures legal compliance and employee safety by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings

Manages efficient work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions

Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions

Administers and implements employee benefits programs

Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

Develops and implements HR programs & initiatives (i.e. salary review, workforce planning and organizational change)

Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
