Why Manduka?: Manduka has always been my preferred mat. For 12 years I've had one black Manduka mat that traveled with me everywhere. It was originally sold to me by a man who told me it was the "Cadillac" of yoga mats. He wasn't kidding.

Having grown up in Santa Fe, Damian consumed a steady diet of alternative thought, music, and movement. At 19 he began a steady practice of yoga, and eleven years later, after founding Chrysalis Retreats and working at The Ashram, he has settled in his passion for health and wellness.
Damian has completed the Yoga Works teacher training under Annie Carpenter & James Brown, and is also trained in Stott Pilates, TRX, and Esalen Massage. His yoga classes are approachable and welcoming to all levels. The more mixed the class, the more dynamic the learning. His classes are marked by a fusion of all that is presently being learned, with a backbone of Vinyasa Flow.
