In 2004 he got invited by Elsie Matthijssens to follow a yoga class. He was immediately was hooked to Ashtanga Yoga. In the beginning specially for the physical aspect, later on more for the control of the body and breacht.
He has always been interested in the human body. From his 7th until 31st I played water polo. Next to that he also did 8 years athletics, 2 years aikido and some recreational cycling. Now he is a triathlete. To understand more how the body works he went to study Biomedical Science at the university in Antwerp.
He is still amazed about the power of yoga. Besides a small cold he never gets sick anymore. But what he appreciates the most about yoga is that it really quiets the mind and gives you inner peace.
