Jennifer developed her yoga practice over eight years in her hometown of Chicago. In 2010 she traveled to North Adams, MA to participate in the teacher training program at Frog Lotus Studio. Since receiving certification she wrote several grants to fund an after-school yoga program at two Chicago Public High Schools and continues to work with inner-city youth and teaching yoga as a dance elective and also after-school.
