As a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor in Oakland and Berkeley, Kimber Simpkins has taught inspiring classes full of music and contemplation for more than seven years. Shortly after becoming a lawyer, Kimber decided to pursue a more spiritual path that left time for family life and began practicing yoga intensively. She has found that the practice of yoga allows us to connect more to our bodies and our hearts, enriching all of our relationships, including our connection to the earth and life itself. She shares her enthusiasm for the practice and the philosophy of yoga in every class. When not on her yoga mat, Kimber may be found dancing, pruning writing, or hula-hooping in her backyard garden.
