A graduate with a BA in English and Drama from the University of Virginia and product of Lawrence, KS, and
Princeton, NJ, Kathryn found yoga in college through her ashtanga practice. Her acting career and yoga led her to Los Angeles in the summer of 2004 where she completed the Yoga Works training with Chuck Miller and her mentor, Maty Ezraty. A dedicated ashtangi and one of the youngest teachers when put on the schedule at Yogaworks, Kathryn's classes focus on finding the playful approach to the practice. Full of arm balances and inversions, she teaches in a way that encourages taking chances, opening up and finding laughter.
