Stella Valente grew up in Queens, NY, a challenging place for finding peace by any standards. Through modern dance she found yoga but it wasn’t until an incident with “authority” that she found the “true” meaning of yoga. It changed her life forever and she speaks on the subject, “Yoga So You Wanna?”
She has studied with Master Teachers: Annie Carpenter, Lisa Walford and Steven Freedman and has created an enlivening blend of vinyasa, pranayama, zen philosophy and humor.
She encourages students to joyfully become more conscious from moment to moment, to explore their own true nature and divine inner power. She has classes in Los Angeles www.stellayoga.com.
