David Garrigues has been one of the key forces of Ashtanga Yoga since becoming a certified Ashtanga Yoga teacher in 1997. Since then he has taught thousands of people this method of yoga. He has dedicatedly studied continually with Guruji since being awarded this rare teaching credential, as well as becoming a great innovator to this great yoga system, putting aside harshness and embracing the flow. For 12 years David taught Ashtanga Yoga in Seattle Washington at the Ashtanga Yoga School before becoming a traveling teacher. David is dear in the hearts of his students, and even dearer to those who teach the methods of his teacher training sessions. David now leads kirtans, workshops, and teacher trainings both in the US and abroad.
